When You Die Do You Know If You
Will Go To Heaven? Are you saved?
The
term saved is used more than fifty times in the New Testament to refer to one
receiving salvation. It means that one is saved from the condemnation of their
sins meaning their sins are forgiven and they go to heaven when they die. Being
saved is not a question of how good you are, or good deeds you have done, nor if
you are a church member or have been baptized, but have you believed that the
Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again
the third day?
I CORINTHIANS 15:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I
declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have
received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory
what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto
you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins
according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the
third day according to the scriptures
ROMANS 3:23-27
For all have sinned, and come
short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the
redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation
through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of
sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this
time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which
believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of
works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
EPHESIANS 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted,
after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom
also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased
possession, unto the praise of his glory.
ROMANS 5:8-11
But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more
then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through
him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his
Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only
so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now
received the atonement.
All that you have to do is believe that the Lord Jesus Christ
died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again
third day!!
